SOS Children’s Villages
Offering education and renewal of living spaces, AkzoNobel and SOS Children’s Villages are giving hope to children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it. Helping to transform lives is at the heart of Let’s Colour, so we have partnered with SOS Children's Villages to use education and renovation to drive a positive impact on the issue of youth unemployment.
Partnership for youth employability
We offer young people training and practical experience through our painter academies, as well as developing other professional and personal skills through online or face-to-face mentoring programs, career guidance and internships. By doing this we improve their chances of becoming self-reliant adults, who take responsibility for themselves and the communities around them.
The young people also have a chance to give back to the program; collaborating with AkzoNobel volunteers, they renovate and improve the living spaces of other SOS Children’s Villages program participants.
