Our collaborative innovation program is a bold initiative to accelerate and scale more sustainable solutions for the paints and coatings industry with external partners. Initially open to only startups, we quickly expanded to embrace suppliers and other value chain partners.
Our goal is to create transparency across the value chain with trusted collaborative partners to pinpoint barriers and define possible solutions to achieve our common targets towards a more sustainable future in the paints and coatings industry.

About the program
We launched our collaborative innovation program in 2019, initiating a variety of programs to accelerate innovation in a win-win mode and bring new solutions to our customers. It’s all about connecting what we know with what we don’t know yet.
Initially open to only startups, we quickly expanded to embrace suppliers and other value chain partners. Because we built on our shared success, our ecosystem has continued to grow and strengthen, making this bold initiative the largest in the industry.
