Jan-Piet van Kesteren

Jan-Piet van Kesteren joined the Executive Committee in February 2023.

As Dutch national, Jan-Piet was educated in the Netherlands and he graduated in business economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam before joining Unilever in 1996.

After 8 years with Unilever in the Netherlands, he moved to the United Arab Emirates as Vice President Foods & Beverages for Unilever’s North Africa Middle East business.

In March 2010 Jan-Piet joined AkzoNobel and in 2017 he got appointed as Business Unit Director for Decorative Paints in Europe Middle East & Africa.
