AkzoNobel Sunshine North Community Hub

As a longstanding member of Sunshine North, we care about our place in the community and want to be a good neighbour. The safety and well-being of our employees and neighbouring residents are our top priorities.

Facility updates

We have heard the community’s concerns regarding our Sunshine North facility and want to keep you updated. This website has been created to keep the community of Sunshine North informed about the facility and act as a means for members of the community to provide feedback and post questions to AkzoNobel.

AkzoNobel is currently liaising with the EPA on its response to questions and concerns from the Sunshine North community about odors and noise coming from the facility. AkzoNobel is working closely with the EPA to conduct monitoring and testing, and action is being taken to resolve these issues. Attached is our Communications and Engagement Strategy. Our latest fact sheets and resources on these issues are available below.
