AkzoNobel (AKZA; AKZOY) announces a new site manager for Nashville Powder Coatings. Emre Koc will join the North America team (NAM), effective April 1, 2023. He started with AkzoNobel in 2010 and most recently held the EMEA manufacturing project manager role in Barcelona, Spain. In this role, he delivered the design and execution of manufacturing projects and digital and automation strategies.

Previously, Emre was the site manager at the factory in Dubai, U.A.E, from 2015 to 2019 that developed powder, marine and metal coatings. Emre will report to Nate Norris, NAM manufacturing and supply chain director, who stated: "As the Nashville site manager, Emre will lead all manufacturing operations to include health safety and environment (HSE), production, maintenance, engineering, warehouse, quality and continuous improvement. Emre brings profound knowledge and experience to North America, and I am proud AkzoNobel invests in the growth and development of our talented people.” 

The Nashville powder coatings site develops automotive, architecture, exterior pipelines and rebar coatings for road construction.

Emre Koc, Nashville Powder Coatings site manager, said: “I am excited for the opportunity to lead a motivated, engaged and diverse workforce. I will develop a high-performing Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization and equip them with the necessary tools to succeed and deliver. I am excited to play a key role in supplying our sustainable powder coatings to our customers.”
